This project was for my Movement and Influences course in college. The objection was to create a Film Festival using 4 or more movies for inspiration. I decided to focus on awesomely bad old movies devoted to giant monstrosities.

   As a fan of bad films, this topic was a blast to bring to print. The taglines used to promote the films added to the charm as I incorporated them into the design. I used textbook science illustrations to show what each film's monstrosities were, adding humor to the already amusing festival: Here is the reality of the animal in which the film blows to huge proportions.  I chose a singular word that incomposed the feeling of the film, taken from the tagline's overexaggerated language, and made it larger than the illustration in order to enrich the humor. "Our bark is worst than our bite" Of course, I'm sure if these monstrosities were indeed mega-monsters, it would be quite terrifying. Knowing the reality, though, makes it seem ridiculous and hilarious.
